J&B Industries was started in 1991 by my parents, Jack and Brenda Mazini. Jack has been in the rotary tube cutting industry for over 40 years, after all, this process was 1st designed and manufactured about 15 minutes north of us in Winsted, Connecticut.

When Jack and Brenda began building machines, they wanted a machine that was well designed (our engineer has been doing this for 20+ years), well built (Jack has been doing this for 35+ years) as well as maintenance and operator friendly, and that is what they did. So, sitting with our engineer they went through and made a list of features that operators and maintenance personnel would like and they built the first machine.

Jack and Brenda built this family owned and operated business with great pride and a keen awareness of our customer needs. If you called during business hours (M-F 8am – 4:30 pm EST) you would have reached one of them. Four years ago my father decided to retire and was comfortable enough with me to ‘pass the torch’. Today I operate the business with my husband, Pete, in the same manner that my parents did. Jack always told me, build a quality machine with quality parts, and a positive attitude, be good to your customers and they will come back to you, as will new ones, and he was right. We have wonderful customers that make it a pleasure to come to work each day.
