The  flying cut off has a J&B designed encoder system measures the length to be cut as well as the speed that the tubing from the tube mill is traveling.  If the tube mill changes speed, the encoder will tell the tube cutter's PLC that this has occurred.

The cutting head is mounted on a plate that is mounted to a servo driven ball screw.  Each tube cutter includes tooling for one (1) diameter of tubing and Owner's Manual

We also offer a plate-up unit that can be mounted to an existing tube cutter for a mill or replace a saw.  This option is available for all models, which comes without electrics.

JB125 - capable of cutting up to 1.125" diameter tubing with up to .070" wall.  An optional pull-apart is available for Centerline tube mills

JB200 - capable of cutting up to 2.0" diameter tubing with up to .100" wall for bottom line tube mills.
